As we head towards the winter solstice and the longest, and sometimes coldest, night of the year, we're seeing an increase in searches for pellet cookers on google trends, compared to searches for wood-burning cookers. But what are the reasons for choosing a pellet stove?<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As well as opting for an environmentally friendly and structurally cheaper fuel, pellets guarantee significantly higher yields because they are more economical than natural gas and diesel and offer more efficient and cleaner combustion than these fuels. These characteristics are even more important when analysed from the point of view of safety, when year after year fatalities are repeated among those who succumb to inhaled gases from fireplaces and similar equipment in various locations in Portugal.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
