ECOFAB PRODUCT GUARANTEE
Fab brand pellet stoves for domestic use are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of delivery. In the event of intensive use of the products, the guarantee for electrical and electronic components (fans, thermostats, switches, wiring, etc.) is 12 months from the date of delivery of the goods.
ECOFAB understands intensive use to mean all products installed in commercial spaces or whose use exceeds 1500 hours per calendar year. Replacement of parts or components does not extend or renew the warranty period.
Fab stoves must be periodically cleaned inside and out by the user in accordance with the instructions in this manual. Failure to comply with the above may result in faults, which cannot be blamed on ECOFAB - Unipessoal Lda.
Before putting the machine into operation, please read the instructions for use and installation carefully, as they will help you to get the most out of your machine and avoid the risk of damage or malfunction due to incorrect or improper use.
Warranty exclusions
- Routine servicing and consumables;
- Parts or components subject to natural or abnormal wear and tear, as well as damage to the machine resulting from such wear and tear;
- Examples of some of the components that are considered wear components and are therefore excluded from the guarantee: power system bushes, door seals, fuses, probes, etc;
- Damage to the machine caused by fitting non-original parts or accessories that have not been technically approved by the fab;
- Breakdowns or damage caused by faulty electrical installation;
- Modifications and transformations carried out on the machine without the technical approval of the fab brand, or faults caused by these;
- Faulty machines whose identification number has been altered or removed;
- Breakdowns or damage to parts caused by water, sediment or other rubbish that has prevented the parts from functioning normally;
- Malfunctions caused by using the machine for purposes other than its intended purpose, misuse, user negligence or the use of unauthorised fuels;
- Damage resulting from natural causes or any other cause external to the equipment;
- Wear, aesthetic deterioration, oxidation or corrosion caused by use.
